Christopher Klemm
His journey began with blue-chip institutions like S.G. Warburg, Lazard, UBS, and Citigroup, before founding his own advisory firm in Zurich 25 years ago. Our core business has been built on providing traditional corporate finance advisory services.
Over the past 15 years, Christopher has specialized in the most challenging segment of M&A: the divestiture of non-performing and non-core businesses. He is widely recognized as an expert in this field, having built an outstanding track record of successful transactions.
Entrepreneurship
In 2004, Christopher demonstrated his business foresight by co-founding Five Elements Capital AG, a company focused on environmental sustainability, including waste management solutions, circular economy initiatives, and climate action projects across Europe and Southeast Asia. He later successfully divested this venture.
In 2006, he co-founded Asia2Europe Associates to capitalize on emerging cross-border opportunities, which led to advisory roles in multiple successful cross border M&A transactions between Asia and Europe.
Most recently, in 2022, Christopher founded Rail Serve Consolidated AG, where he serves as Executive Chairman. The company is dedicated to building a European group of rail rolling stock service and maintenance businesses.
INVESTMENTS
As a business angel, Christopher has made personal investments in cleantech and medical technology startups, frequently serving as a board member or chairman. In selected cases, he also took on interim executive roles.
While no longer actively involved with early-stage companies, he draws upon extensive experience in guiding young ventures, particularly in matters of corporate governance and strategic development.
